Albert Sands has been dubbed a man of the renaissance because of his many interests. He is a classical guitar player and a painter in his spare time, and an industrial engineer by profession.
Albert is a self-thought painter. He studied books of famous American and Spanish art teachers, such as Betty Edwards, Joseph Sheppard,Jose Maria Parramon and Vicenc Ballestar.
Albert is focused on the drawing and painting the female figure and he attempts to create softness and beauty by using pastels. His artistic style is still evolving, but he currently prefers to work between the realist and colorist styles.
Albert's models and poses are carefully selected so his works can be displayed in any environment, from a home to an office.
Alberto has been recenly awarded the "Scholarship award" from the Pastel Society of America in the 2005 exhibition.
