I was born in Lagos Island in Lagos state Nigeria in the south west region, on the 28 th 0f September 1974, i am the 6 th child in a family of 8 children, my family moved from lagos island to Surulere in Lagos state in 1979 i was registered in Enitan primary school in 1980 and in the same year i was moved to Ayetoro primary school in 1986, i was enrolled into Aguda grammar school in Surulere where i finished from in 1993 before moving on to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Oyo state here i received my B.Tech in pure and applied arts(1994-2000)in painting.

Childhood:

I had an adventurous childhood and this resulted in him having quite a few scars scattered around my body, for example the scare on my fore-head was as a result of a carpenters saw hanging from a work bench in a neighboring workshop. I have a nail stab in the middle of my fore-head when i was 11, a stitched lip at 10, fell into soup at 7, fell trough a window at 13, had a broken nose and teeth before i was 16 years old.
I am from a family of talented drafts-men, every member except my mother and only sister could make a good pencil drawing, as far back as primary school I had started getting noticed from my teachers and fellow students through my early drawings.
In my secondary school i was introduced to the use of colour by my then art teacher who paid special attention.
In Studio
During my one year break after writing my junior secondary school exams, i converted my fathers rented store into a studio though i did not make any sales, i had a number of commissions by admirers, amongst this was a pastor who was in the area to buy materials for his church’s renovation, he commissioned me to do relief’s and oil paintings both in and outside his church.
In my final year in school i held my first exhibition which i organized myself and was held within my secondary.
