Allan Wray
Allan Wray began his artistic odyssey at age nine when his mother bought him a camera and his dad brought home a developing kit. Although life took many twists and turns, and jobs in the Information Technology field took precedence over artistic expression for many years, Allan is now exploding onto the creative stage with works in photography and digital imagery, motion graphics, animation, video editing, and even a bit of voiceover.

Over the years, he absorbed the work of 19th and 20th century artists. Allan was fascinated by the way Picasso, Redon, and Gauguin reinterpreted the familiar. Urban realist work like the Ash Can School and the Precisionist Movement reflected Allan's continued interest in industrial and street photography. The super realists created paintings that looked like photographs inspiring Allan to create photographs that look like paintings.

Allan's works presented here fall into these categories: Other Worlds, Architecture, Industrial Impressions, Photography, Art for Children, Street Scenes, Abstractions, and Plantlife.
