Harlequin
Harlequin, after the feast. He's drunk, he hasn't gotten any food, and he hasn't found a mate. Originally a lesser god in the court of Loki, his myth has a long past, finally ending up in the Comedia del'Arte. Through the ages, his character has been a part of Norse mythology, Russian folklore, and French street theatre, at the same time having been mixed into the storytelling of a dozen countries. The piece is marble inlay, and took almost four years of constant work to complete.
