Anna-Louise Savage was born, bred and educated in Folkestone and now lives and works in Hythe. Having attended Winchester School of Art and Falmouth School of Art she now concentrates on an overwhelming and compulsive need to paint.

Her collection ‘Demons’ depicted visionary authors who experimented with drugs and documented their experiences in apocalyptic writings, included Aldous Huxley, Hunter S Thompson and William Burroughs.

Anna-Louise says that her collection ‘Contemplating the Void’ looked at society’s relationship with celebrities in building our personalities and the influence that their work and lives have on our own.
