Photography is vital to Brandon R. Shafto.
He was romanced by camera and film through high school and finally bought his own (a Pentax SLR) by graduation. Discovering photography as an expressive medium and a visual history recorder gripped Brandon and hasn't let go. Through studies at the Orchard Ridge campus at OCC in Farmington Hills Michigan he honed his wild vision and technique into a more refined expression. Learning the physiology of film and chemicals cemented an understanding of how to manipulate the final product ultimately showing the viewer of his work how Brandon's mind's eye sees the world around us.

Brandon works out of his home in Northern Michigan. His photographic experience spans over 10 years through many different photo mediums and formats. From website work, portraits, album art for bands, to commercial work using the latest and greatest tools. His style and vision are unique and fresh.
