I have been doing business as The Magical Brush for over 18 years. Born in New Jersey, I was fortunate in having a really fantastic high school art teacher, Ludlow Thurston, who taught us to experiment and explore different means of expression. I attended East Carolina University and Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC but most of what I learned was by doing.
I like the diversity and challenge of creating various forms of art and enjoy working with all the interesting and appreciative clients I am fortunate to meet. The entire process is exciting - from first meetings with the client, understanding what their vision is, the sketches and research, the actual labor involved in the creation, and seeing their faces when they see the finished project. It is wonderful to be able to make a living doing what you love.
