This is an artwork with a rich history down the western part of africa.The artwork is a replica of a virgin calabash carrier to the water goddess of osun River(oso-igbo).osun river is located in the south-western part of Nigeria.this river is a symbol of one of the wives of sango,who was once the king of the ancient Oyo empire.the osun shrine was recently added to the world heritage site(WHS).
