Claudia Perez was born in El Salvador and raised in Los Angeles/Pasadena, California.

She has never stopped creating art since she was three years old.

With a positive attitude towards life and intent to make a difference through the arts, she has shown her dedication towards creativity by teaching herself how to play the guitar, sing and songwrite.

As well as teaching herself the piano and growing into a composer role, while continuing with her singing and songwriting.

She began her performance career at the early age of five- when her mother Julia Perez- signed both Claudia and her brother Oscar Jr., for the National TV show "Jardin Infantil", in San Salvador, El Salvador.

While in elementary school her mask project was chosen to be exhibited at the Children’s Museum of Art, as well as the children’s book illustrated by Claudia and written by a fellow classmate was chosen for publication, and consequently published.

Later in Jr. High School, she conducted, designed and accomplished entire art projects for school, such as Directing, designing and running the entire painting of all of her schools windows! With the help of a crew of classmates and her early leadership skills, her group managed to complete the production of the schools holiday decorations. As well as when her illustration was chosen to be used by the local "MEChA" Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán National Constitution.She continued her passion for art throughout her adolescence,

Performing original choreographed dance routines on the streets of Pasadena.

Dancing-for a band named "Sahama" she earned one of her first paychecks from her art.

And by furthering herself with painting, writing, and other forms of art, she continues attaining a more refined sense of creative production.

Fluent in Spanish and English, she writes from the heart a sultry mixture of alternative-pop-folk-rock (protest) with a twist of the Latin rhythms she grew up with. She also combines the rhythms and soul of other cultures that have touched her, to bring you a very eloquent, full style and variety in music.

Whimsical whispers, Claudias’ paintings (watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and oils) have a touch of magical innocence and her illustration can be equally enchanting.

As well, some works capture the subtle sensuality of the human body that makes you want to stare at them for hours, and keep them with you always.

On some of her more current work you will see a form of realism coming to light. Her writing is strong slap of reality that will blow you away.

Forces of nature and lonely scapes, are the usual subject of Claudias’ photographic work, For your observation and pleasure captured in a magical stand still. As well, Claudia has created and/or designed several different corporate art projects, for clients who desired either custom work or wanted to use original art on their publications.
