In Ancient Egypt it was taught that art was a gift from the gods. Regarding this it is written;
“What the gods want, the gods will have. So I say make it easy on yourself, give yourself over to your it. If you don’t it will come anyway a lesser power than it should be. But if give yourself to it, it will nourish you, and the world.�
I know sculpting nourishes me like nothing else I have ever found. When I am working there is a sensation of an energy flowing through me… like love, joy, peace, a feeling of confidence and a knowing in my heart that this is what I was born to do. Whether it nourishes the world in some way, I will leave to time.
