Like a birthmark - you either have one or your don't; I was born with an imagination so huge and full of wonder that even I have been overwhelmed by it. My "flooding with too many ideas" imagination has long begged for a voice, and I am, in the middle of my life, finally able to do that through my watercolor paintings. I paint the moment, the story, the thought, the air......inspired by everything. The classical beauty of nature and all flora and fauna, or more intriguing lately - the fleeting personality of color and shapes and light...to describe a subject as I see it. Knowing all along while I paint, that someone else will see something different, something of their own, expanding my own intention into the disappear. In this happy temperament life keeps getting better. The work is challenging, endlessly exciting and my reason to keep doing what I do.
