i have had a love hate relationship with painting all my life having long lay offs the last one lasted several years i lost my voice felt i had nothing new to say well i found my voice and im shouting loud im back im also a musician songwriter and have been torn between the two all my life but now i am devoting all my time to my painting and music so i am able to work time out for both i believe what ever you paint should say something so my work is mostly split between animal studies and dreamscapes the only bounderies in life are our own imaginations and as i have no wish to paint exactly what i see but rather what i would like to see i let my imagination have full range i have no desire to recreate a photoe so am happy for my paintings to show the true nature of paint but i do like to show great detail so my paintings can take me up 6 months to complete if you would like to see more of my work visit my website or url me at www.myspace.com/dnlddean
