Self-taught in traditional watercolor landscape and still-life at an early age, my interest in the natural sciences influenced my passion for mixed and experimental media. My work ranges from realistic to abstract. By combining traditional paper making and painting techniques with natural and man-made materials, I form unusual and striking assemblages. Photographs of the Roaring Fork and Crystal River Valley environs become the subjects of paintings or assemblages. The work reflects a unique and personal perspective on landscapes and still-life subjects using traditional and experimental mixed media.


My background is in computer graphics and fineart. Working as senior graphics designer for a Washington D.C. based firm I produced animation, slide presentations, and graphics for the scientific community and stills for various projects in corporate and commercial video. I have done work for the Smithsonian, National Academy of Sciences, the Army Corps of Engineers, and National Institute of Standards and Technology. I also freelanced, doing corporate identities, logos, brochures and menus for businesses in the D.C. area.


A member of the National Computer Graphics Association, American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Society for Experimental Artists...I have paintings in a number of corporate settings in the Mid Atlantic area as well as private collections overseas. My work is on exhibit in the Roaring Fork and Crystal River Valleys.

I currently work with Bryce, Carrara Studio, Cinema4D, PaintShopPro, Amapi and Rhino.
