Panda Bear
The Panda, or Panda Bear resides in cool
Damp forests in Central China near Tibet.
This extremely rare creature thrives
primarily on bamboo and small plants.
The Chinese government has established
12 reserves to prevent the Panda’s
extinction. Mating generally takes place
in April or May and one or two cubs are born,
mainly in January.
This docile animal weighs around three
Hundred pounds and is currently the
Symbol of the World Wildlife Fund.
