I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in LaPorte, Indiana. I graduated from Purdue University in 1994 with a BA in Communications. I've been working as a professional broadcast journalist for 13 years. Currently, I work at CNN. I have several friends who are working artists. Their passion for art has inspired me to try my hand at it, as well.
