I am a self taught artist, whose art education comes from workshops and books on the subjects and techniques I wanted to learn. The world of animals and nature is my passion. The power and grace of an Arabian horse, the cool level stare of a wolf, the exuberance of puppies at play, all move me as other subjects haven't. My work is up close and personal, giving the viewer a glimpse of the subject's personality. As a firm believer in wildlife conservation, I support several conservation groups, including Wolf Park, a wolf study facility in Battle Ground, IN. I want my work to make a difference.
