Wonderful original work by Sister Mary Krista, a Nun. It is titled Contemplation, Oil on Masonite. Total size is 48 x 45 inches. Signed and dated 1965. Provenance: Andrew J Barton Estate. This is a fantastic figurative study. The colors are deep and rich. Many fabulous objects are placed within the painting. A beautiful frame of dark oak in in the work. It has an inner beading of gold and looks lovely with the work. It is in excellent condition!
