Great work by Ferdinand Rossignol. A prolific 19th century French painter. The frame is an antique style that fits the image wonderfully. It is a wood frame with bronzed scroll work corners.The work shows several hunters and their dogs on the way to a hunt. Very finely detailed. The painting and frame are in perfect condition. Work comes with a letter of provinance. Size is approximatley 19 x 24 without frame. Sotheby's auction (NY. NY) lists similar works by Rossignol to be $5,000.00 May 12th 1
