Lady Ivy In Black Lace
In the Middle Ages ground ivy was used in combination with other herbs as an anesthetic. It was also used to ward off the plague, and the leaves were used to relieve eye and ear ills.
This Impressionist/Art Nouveau painting was created in mixed media on paper (ink, colored pencil, watercolor, pastel, and a digital airbrush)
