I was born and raised in a small farming community, population 750, a place I like to call No Where. I spend most of the time with my brother crawdadding and getting into whatever mischief was possible. I have many memories of time spent at my grandmother's farm. I had the Norman Rockwells childhood and have so many fond memories from stepping in cowpies and making homemade ice cream, the old fashioned way.
I have always had art in my life and still own my first 2 paintings. Through out my life I have always turned back to art when my time was free to do so. In the 70's I was into Batik and crafting with the girl scouts over the years to follow.
We raised our 4 children and left Californa to resettle in New Mexico and at the moment I was settled I started painting and have not stopped. I will paint until the last breath for I find a release for my inner soul that will keep me happy and healthy for life. I hope you enjoy my work.
