I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and lived in that area until I was around 16. My mother, sister, and I then moved to Florida where I entered the art scene. In high school I was in the top art classes, Portfolio Art, which required a portfolio to get in to. I exhibited in 2000 at the Alliance of the Arts LAEA show and won second place in Colored Pencil for my "Dancing Manikin" piece. That piece was shown at the Festival of Arts in Lehigh Acres, Florida the same year and received Juror's Choice. In 2001, I exhibited another Manikin piece in the Alliance of the Art Show but did not place. I have created well over 50 pieces since then and I am still going strong. In 2006 & 2007, I exhibited in the Cape Coral Art Studio Aquarium exhibit, which forced me to expand my horizons and work on wildlife as opposed to still life and imaginary objects. I had a two month solo exhibit at WineStyles in Naples, FLorida from September 2007 - November 2007.
