Shawn Clark’s first experience with professional photography was during his employment as an Executive Protection and High Threat Security agent in the late 1990’s. In addition to providing both discreet and high visibility services, Mr. Clark was also responsible for conducting photo-surveillance operations.

After completing an Associates of Applied Science with an emphasis in Criminal Justice in June of 2000, Mr. Clark moved to Miami, Florida to attend Barry University with the intent of earning a Bachelor’s of Arts specializing in Forensic Photography. However, during the course of pursuing his studies, the faculty of Barry University opened the worlds of Photography and Art for Mr. Clark. In December of 2003, Mr. Clark graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts, specializing in Forensic Photography with supporting course work in Art History and Diving Sports Management.

As part of his course work, Mr. Clark completed an intensive six-month forensic photography certification program at the Miami Dade Medical Examiner’s office. Mr. Clark was also very fortunate during his time at Barry University to participate in specialized courses in underwater photography, photographic chemistry, and an intensive photographic study abroad in Paris, France for five weeks during the summer of 2002.
