I do faux painting & traditional painting as my profession . I make unique, rustic wood frames as well . It started as a passtime, but I was intrigued to create frames from untraditional sources .

Chipped And Beveled
This frame is very weathered and is full of cracks and holes from nails with remnants of rust at each hole .
The rabbet cut in the back is 7 3/4 inches wide , 8 inches high and 1/2 inch deep .
The frame is 11 1/2 inches by 11 1/2 inches and is 2 inches thick .
