Bacci Della Farfalla (butterfly kiss) was one of my first paintings I created after the Bordello Blues Series. I wanted to bring this figure into the present, by creating a ghost-like feel. If you look closely on the figure's right hand...she is gazing at a small butterfly. The butterfly is 3-dimensional and attached to the canvas on her hand.
